Inspirational artist invites Crisis clients to studio

Artist and Crisis supporter Andrew Logan invited homeless and vulnerably housed clients from Crisis Skylight London to his studio last week, to watch work being made and to talk about the creative process of jewellery making.

Andrew Logan studio visit

Logan is a British sculptural artist and the workshop followed on from a visit he made to Crisis Skylight London in May.

His studio is in South East London and Crisis clients were able to discuss their work and inspirations with him, while he answered questions about his sculptures and jewellery.

The visit gave members an opportunity to get a closer look at Logan's work, including finding out about the materials he uses and his methods. A highlight of the visit came when Crisis clients were able to view a member of Logan's team preparing jewellery for a Vogue shoot.

Andrew Logan qualified in architecture in the late 1960s, and has worked in various fields, ranging from sculpture to interior design. Andrew's career has seen his work exhibited across the world, with exhibits shown in cities such as Los Angeles and St Petersburg.

Logan has invited Crisis's clients to take part in another workshop with him in September 2012.
