Business booming at Crisis Skylight Newcastle Café
After a successful year and a special sold out event, the team at Crisis Skylight Newcastle Cafe is feeling positive about the year to come.
The Crisis Skylight Newcastle Café first launched its award winning hospitality training programme in 2007. This summer, internationally renowned chef, Simon Tennet, took the reins alongside café manager Christine McDermott, to expand the café’s business reach even further.
Simon and Christine have since taken on a number of exciting outside catering contracts with businesses across Newcastle.
They were particularly thrilled with the recent success of an evening when the famous Fisherman's Wharf seafood restaurant on Newcastle’s Quayside, was recreated at the café, which is situated on City Road, Newcastle.
June Grimes, Director of Crisis Skylight Newcastle, said:
“We are very much looking forward to working with our new clients and would urge anyone in Newcastle and the surrounding area who would either like to hire our café as a venue for a special event or our services for commercial catering to get in touch.
“At the end of the summer, our café was transformed and it felt like Fisherman’s Wharf had come to life right here at Crisis Skylight, reflecting the hay day of the original restaurant with a menu of fresh lobster and fillet steak, complete with beautiful table settings, decorations and fresh flowers. The team would like to thank everyone who supported the evening and gave us such great feedback.
“We are looking forward to the exciting times to come.”
