Help Crisis Skylight Newcastle win £15,000
Crisis Skylight Newcastle could win £15,000 funding from People's Postcode Trust and it's your online vote that can make the difference.
Crisis Skylight Newcastle is one of six charities in the North East of England that has been selected to be a part of the Vote That Counts, an online voting competition.
The charity that gets the highest number of votes receives £15,000, while two runner-up charities receive £10,000 and £5,000.
Voting for Crisis Skylight Newcastle is free and easy. Simply visit www.votethatcounts.org, enter your email address and select ‘Crisis’. If you share The Vote That Counts on your social media, you then win an all-important second vote.
June Grimes, Director of Crisis Skylight Newcastle, said: “We are over the moon to be nominated to be a part of the competition – but we need our supporters to make sure we get the highest number of votes and secure the funding.
“£15,000 would make a huge difference to us at Crisis Skylight Newcastle. We could pay for our entire Christmas service, providing hot meals, warmth, companionship and advice on how to move away from homelessness. Not only that but this money would pay for life-changing services well into the New Year.”
Voting opens on Monday 29 October and closes at midnight on Sunday 18 November. Please take just two minutes to make your vote count for Crisis Skylight Newcastle.
