Boris Johnson hails volunteering
Mayor of London Boris Johnson underlined the importance of volunteering last night at a joint Crisis and Housing Justice event to launch a new volunteering directory booklet.
The event at WestminsterHall in central London drew volunteering organisations from across the homelessness sector.
The booklet, We Need You: Volunteer to tackle homelessness and change lives, which is available online, gives a taster of some of the opportunities that are available to volunteer across the sector with a directory of over 10 organisations looking for volunteers.
