Matthew Kelly visits Crisis Skylight Oxford drama workshop
Olivier Award-winner Matthew Kelly, who is starring with Claire Sweeney in Willy Russell's Educating Rita at the Oxford Playhouse, took time out from rehearsals to attend Crisis Skylight Oxford's regular drama workshop.

Homeless and vulnerably housed Crisis clients from the group – who were given free tickets to see Educating Rita the previous evening – were able to discuss the various elements of the play with the star at the afternoon session held at Crisis Skylight Oxford in the Old Fire Station on George Street.
Matthew Kelly said: “It was wonderful to be invited to work with clients at Crisis Skylight Oxford and I was fascinated to find out their thoughts on Claire’s and my performance in Educating Rita at the Oxford Playhouse. The whole afternoon at the Old Fire Station was very interesting indeed.”
Members of the drama group such as Deborah Smart, pictured, were also given the chance to ‘read in’ as Rita with the former Stars in their Eyes presenter.
Educating Rita, by UK playwright Willy Russell and directed by Tamara Harvey, is currently playing at the Oxford Playhouse.
