Services for all

We aim to provide something for everyone when they join us for Christmas. In 2006, with regional centres, we changed the way we delivered many of our services; nevertheless we ensured the same level of services were available to all of our guests.

In fact, our guests have told us that this new approach meant it was easier for them to access what was available. The numbers below speak for themselves.

Services provided in 2006

• Over 700 used our healthcare services, with 300 screened for TB
• 267 had eye tests
• 156 had dental treatment delivered by mobile units outside our centres
• 286 had their feet treated by a podiatrist
• 1150 took the opportunity to have a haircut
• 450 were given much needed professional advice, with positive housing outcomes achieved for 166 guests
