What is Changing Lives?

Changing Lives is a project which can provide funding for homeless people to pursue a vocational goal
We offer grants of up to £2500
Funding can be spent on education and training course fees, equipment needed for courses, items needed for setting up a business or tools needed to get back to work

To remove the financial barriers preventing homeless people from moving towards their chosen vocational goal
To get people involved in activities that raise their confidence, can improve their skills and enable them to live independently and contribute to society

Adults aged 18 or over
who have experienced some form of homelessness in the last 5 years
are single (i.e not living with a partner or spouse)
have the right to remain and work in the UK for the next 5 years
have been free from substance or alcohol misuse for at least six months
been working with a support worker for the past 6 months
is living in some form of secure accommodation (i.e. not currently sleeping rough)
