Crisis Consequences

Musical Talent unites to help fight homelessness

See the video above.

A big thank you to everyone who came to see Paul Weller, Supergrass, The Enemy, Graham Coxon, Dirty Pretty Things, New Young Pony Club, Drew McConnell, Andy Rourke, The Noisettes, Pearl Lowe, Ed Harcourt and Danny's Last Dance join Crisis at the Roundhouse on 2nd March and helped to fight homelessness.

With so many acts to choose from it is hard to pick a highlight but for those of us who have followed the journey they have been on it was seeing the Exchange, a band formed by Crisis Member Musicians Stephane Girard, Roberto Medina, Paul Webb, Neil Thompson and MaxLove. Here at Crisis we pride ourselves on seeing the potential in everyone - 2,500 people got to see that potential become a reality.

The next step is the release of Consequences, the single by our Crisis Supergroup. Zane Lowe gave this its ever first play on Radio 1 as his 'Hottest Record in the World' so there's no need to tell you whether it is any good. You can preorder it now by visiting www.7digital.com/crisis or buy it in the shops from 28th April.

Buy and/or attend and not only will you be listening to a piece of history, but you‘ll be helping a homeless person unlock their potential and rebuild their life.

Many people become homeless as result of dependency on alcohol which has started in their early teens. By working together to make young people aware of the consequences of alcohol misuse, we hope to help prevent dependency and the possibility of homelessness in later life.
