Benefit information

The Citizens Advice Bureau provide information on welfare benefits. For further information about benefit entitlements, contact your local CAB or Benefit Agency.

Travel costs

A Changing Lives Award cannot be used to fund travel costs of any kind. Other sources of funding include:

• A budgeting loan
• Your Local Education Authority (if you are 16- 19)
• An Adult Learning Grant
• And, in some cases, a residential pilot is available, which will pay accomodation costs with long distance courses

Childcare costs

Changing Lives Awards cannot be used to fund childcare. Please use these links for other organisations that may be able to help
