How you're helping Crisis

Crisis is the national charity for single homeless people. A roof is simply not enough - we aim to help marginalised people to rebuild their social skills, join the world of work and reintegrate into society.

Funds raised through events like the Square Mile Run are crucial to enable us to continue our work and we're hoping to raise £150,000 this year.

Did you know?

  • There are over 400,000 single homeless people in the UK, including those staying in hostels, B&B's, squats and on friends' floors

  • 85 per cent of homeless people have been in paid employment in the past and 47 per cent possess qualifications

One final word...

"When you're on the streets or in a hostel you have to become a different person - harder and less caring. Skylight has reminded me who I used to be."
