Crisis Skylight is a centre where homeless people take part in free practical and essential training courses. It is made up of Skylight, the Learning Zone, the Skylight Garden Project and the Skylight Café.
This role is based in the Crisis reception on the ground floor. You will answer phone calls and welcome guests to Crisis and Skylight.

This role involves going around Skylight, interacting with members and volunteers and providing support where necessary.

This role will involve assisting the ESOL tutor. Volunteers interested in this role should have, or be working towards, an ESOL qualification.
ESOL teaching assistant role description.
Volunteer tutors are required to lead or assist the IT class. Volunteers should be CLAIT and/or ECDL qualified.
IT tutor role description.
This role, based within the Learning Zone, empowers members with skills like communication, group working, literacy, and basic Information Technology skills. Volunteers who can help members develop any of these skills can apply.
Do you have a particular skill? If so we can work together to design a new course for members with you as the tutor.
Skills share volunteer role description.
This project offers an exciting opportunity to those with an interest in gardening. Located just 30 seconds from the Crisis building, the project has made a positive contribution to the local community and our homeless members.
Garden project role description.
A new women's zone has been opened at Skylight just for women and volunteers are needed with all aspects of organising the zone. This opportunity is based in Skylight.
