- Why not complete the Square Mile Run in fancy dress - as well as raising a smile, amused colleagues and friends will be inspired to help you raise as much sponsorship as possible.
- Send a press release to your local newspaper. Let local people know about Crisis and include details of your online fundraising page (if you have one).Contact the Crisis Event's team on 0207 4263825 for advice on drawing up your SMR press release.
- Host a quiz night at your local pub with proceeds coming to Crisis - or ask your landlord to help boost your sponsorship by asking friendly locals to sponsor you £1 each!
- Organise a raffle in your office, with a selection of small prizes, and charge £1 for each ticket.
- Have a pre-run party/BBQ and charge friends for entry.
- Ask friends/family to donate items for a car boot sale (it’s coming into summer!)
- Organise a “guess the baby” competition - collect old baby photos from friends or colleagues and charge £2 to match names to faces. Give a prize to the person who gets most right.
- Ask colleagues, friends or family to bring/make cakes, biscuits and drinks, and have a coffee morning.
- Hold a day at work where people have to stick 50p in a pot for every naughty or banned word!
- Ask friends and families to fill Smarties tubes up with £1 coins!
Remember, the only limit to fundraising is your imagination!
