Newcastle mental health services
We help Crisis Skylight Newcastle members and single homeless people with mental health issues in your journey out of homelessness.
We accept referrals from the following:
- From you - if you are a member of Crisis Skylight or a single homeless person
- Crisis Skylight staff
- External statutory and voluntary organisations, e.g., Work Directions, local hostels, local authority homeless services
- Health services, including GPs
We provide individuals with one to one and/or group support based on clearly identified aims and outcomes for each service user.
Newcastle Mental Health Drop-In
When: Mondays 2 - 4 pm
Where: Time & Space (Quiet Room)
The Mental Health Coordinator is available to provide information, advice and guidance on mental health and emotional wellbeing, and information about the Mental Health Service available at Crisis Skylight.
No appointment required.
Newcastle Mental Health Workshop
When: Wednesday 3 - 5 pm
Where: Discovery Space
Throughout the year we are running a range of workshops on skills and strategies to help you get more out of life. Topics will include; assertiveness, anger management, self-esteem, decision-making, memory, etc. Not on every week. Everyone welcome.
