Crisis Skylight Newcastle is an education, training and employment centre for homeless and vulnerably-housed people in the heart of Newcastle.

An event to help homeless and vulnerably housed clients from Crisis Skylight Newcastle into work has been held with attendance from employers from across the region.

Crisis Skylight Newcastle has introduced a new museums class, giving clients the chance to enjoy new exhibitions and come together to discuss what they've seen.

What we offer

Crisis Skylight Newcastle offers a wide ranging timetable of creative workshops including art, music, drama and dance and vocational workshops such as carpentry. We also offer tailored employment programmes and accredited learning opportunities in literacy, numeracy, IT and ESOL.

Counter in the cafeThe cafe is in a prime spot between the city centre and the thriving quayside, serving delicious food prepared by our trainees.

The surroundings are very pleasant and include sofas to relax on and enjoy one of our speciality coffees.

Sessional tutor opportunities

At Crisis Skylight Newcastle we employ sessional tutors to deliver our classes.
