Crisis Action Team Member
We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, lively and dedicated people to support our campaigning and fundraising efforts across our 50th year. You will be part of a team tasked with supporting the events and activities marking our 50th year, talking to community groups, schools and colleges and taking the lead to find ways to ensure the public have a greater understanding of homelessness.
What’s distinct about this role is that it’s designed to fit in with your life. This role isn’t about giving an hour of your time at a set time each week. We don’t expect you to make every event or appointment and we don’t want you to feel guilty if you’re not available. By giving us your time in this way you will be fighting to end homelessness.
Collection Box Coordinator
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer with great organisational skills and an interest in fundraising. But no fundraising experience required!
In this role you will build positive relationships with your local shops, businesses and groups. Tell them about Crisis, the work we do and how this benefits our members, you will then ask them to host one of our collection boxes. You will monitor the collection boxes you have placed and arrange to empty them every few months.
Timings: Flexible (1- 2 hours per week). Ideal minimum commitment 3 months.
How to apply
For more information on any of our roles and how to apply contact our Volunteer coordinator, Victoria Rodwell on 07422 072906 or email email@example.com.
Volunteer roles without regular commitment
If your circumstances make it difficult to commit to a regular role we would still love for you to volunteer with Crisis. We have member events, fundraising activities and campaigning opportunities that all benefit from enthusiastic volunteers.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information, or to be kept informed of upcoming events.
We would love to meet people who are homeless or those at risk of homelessness people living in South Wales who are interested in using our services.
