Building Better Opportunities

Crisis is working in partnership with South Yorkshire Housing Association alongside Building Better opportunities - Sheffield City Region (BBO SCR) offering an integrated, person-centred employment service for people with physical and mental health conditions, learning disabilities and complex needs. It’s based on Individual Placement Support, a “place then train” approach that’s shown to be twice as effective as traditional approaches.

The BBO SCR Partnership will support 642 adults over the next two years to find competitive employment and training opportunities. BBO SCR has received £2.7million of funding from the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.Big lottery, lottery funded and European Union European Social Fund Investing in jobs and skills
