Our next event - South West
Understand Welfare Reform
Friday 20 July, 9:30 am - 2 pm (including networking lunch)
Plymouth Guildhall, Plymouth, PL1 2AA
Michael Fothergill, Crisis Welfare Network Project Manager, is holding an event to 'de-mysify' what Government is doing to support people who are furthest from the labour market into suitable and sustainable employment.
John Hamblin, CEO of the Shekinah Mission; Martin Davies, CEO of Pluss; and Lucy Stapleton, Partnership Manager of Plymouth Jobcentre Plus will also be delivering presentations. The main aim of the event will be to measure the impact of the Government's welfare reform and welfare to work agendas on vulnerable people.
This is an excellent opportunity to understand what the Coalition Government is doing, and to raise your voice either as an individual, or an organisation that works with vulnerable people. It will give an opportunity for Ministers and senior officials to better understand the regional and national issues through the remit of the Crisis Welfare Network.
This event is free of charge.
To register, please email thomas.say@crisis.org.uk, citing the name of the event in the subject line.
