Meeting employers to help you find jobs (Job brokerage)
Crisis makes links with employers to make sure you have the best chance of finding the right job. We find out where there are hidden jobs and make the screening and interviewing process easy for them, and for you. We talk to employers to find out what skills and qualifications you need before running customised training sessions or setting up some work experience to guarantee you an interview.
If you do get a job with that company, once you're in work we keep in regular touch with your employer to help you both overcome any difficulties you face when you first start, supporting you to stay in work.
Come to "Crisis Employment Platform - Launch your future"
Thursday 13 September at Crisis Skylight London
Following on from our successful Opportunities Fairs, Crisis is launching our new Employment Platform. The aim is to provide a unique way for employers and potential employees to meet each other. We have successfully worked with companies arranging work placements, training programmes, candidate screening, interviews and assessment days tailored to the needs of our employers and our clients.
Come along and get involved!
All we need you to do is come along with your CV ready to speak to employers. Meet potential employers and find out what their company can offer you. The day includes workshops targeted at both businesses and people who have experienced homelessness.
On the day, alongside employer stands, we’ll have activities including;
- HR professionals working with clients to create written profiles
- An acting coach leading workshops for creating video profiles
- Smart clothes and haircuts for work
- Information about funding for self employment
- GOALs setting workshops and access to one-one action planning sessions
- A workshop lead by you to let employers know your experiences of finding work and that you are the perfect candidates.
If you want to find out more about the event, speak to your Coach or email emliy.forsythe@crisis.org.uk
