Because they are not a priority for social housing, the private rented sector is the only solution for many single homeless people.
We are leading the way to achieve greater access to private rented accommodation for single homeless people. Crisis runs a national advisory service providing consultancy advice and support to local authorities and homelessness agencies across England and Scotland.

We are also determined to realise our vision to create homes for people who are stuck in temporary accommodation, ready to move on, but with nowhere to go.
We have developed a cost-effective solution that combines affordable housing for formerly homeless people and low income workers which gives people stability and support and also challenges and motivates them to transform their lives.
We continue to explore ways of achieving this ambition.
