When to apply

We accept applications from 1 October 2010

Decisions released within four to six weeks of application (longer for incomplete applications)
A further two weeks may be needed for funds to be released
Please note applications received between May and July will be paid out in September 20011

Deadline for grants paid out September 2011 is 15 July

Deadline for applications: 12 noon 16 July
All applications need to be complete, and with Crisis by the deadline
When applying for course fees please state course start date in application
Applications for Self-employment or Into Employment grants will also be accepted but funding could be prioritised for Education grants

Application forms

The Education Grant

This grant is for those applying for training courses, educational qualifications or equipment for courses.

The Self-employment Grant

For those applying to set up or maintain a small business and who need business tools, equipment and materials.

Are you actively looking for work?

We also offer an Into Employment Grant

Applicants can apply for this grant only if actively looking for work in a trade they already have some experience in. Application forms are available when the round is open by emailing changing.lives@crisis.org.uk.
