Setting the centres up before Christmas
Crisis at Christmas uses donated buildings for its nine centres, which could be anything from office spaces to warehouse buildings. We want them to be as attractive and inspiring as possible for our guests to enjoy, so we spend time before 23 December revamping them. You can sign up for shifts on 12, 13, 19 and 20 December and the shift times are 09:00 to 12:00 or 12:00 to 18:00.
Closing the centres down after Christmas
After Crisis at Christmas ends, we also need to close down our centres and return the buildings to the state in which they were donated (or better!). You can sign up for shifts on 31 December 2009 through to 10 January 2010 and the shift times are 09:00 to 12:00 or 12:00 to 18:00.
Week day warehouse support and driving
We need help in the Crisis at Christmas warehouse throughout December (and possibly earlier), both in sorting out resources and driving (3.5T/Luton sized and 7.5T vehicles). If you are interested in helping out midweek, please email us clearly stating you would like to volunteer with warehouse support and driving and we'll contact you to make arrangements if we still need more support.
