A wonderful Christmas gift for Crisis
Last year, Christmas volunteers not only gave us their time, but collectively raised over £40,000 in sponsorship, a wonderful Christmas gift for Crisis!
Will you be supporting us by volunteering in 2011? If you are, perhaps you could raise sponsorship for your volunteering efforts too. All you need to do is visit Virgin Money Giving and create a page to send to friends and family. Simply follow the instructions to create your own Sponsor a Volunteer 2011 page.
If you can't take part this year, but would still like to be involved, maybe you could be one of our treasured donors, and sponsor a volunteer.
If you know someone who is volunteering and would like to sponsor them, please search for their name on Virgin Money Giving to make a donation.
Alternatively, perhaps you would like to sponsor our general bank of volunteers. You can do this by making a donation to our general volunteers' online page.
We will welcome up to 2,000 homeless people to our nine centres this Christmas and any sponsorship raised could help
- £10 could pay for one medical kit
- £15 could pay for ten guests to have Christmas dinner
- £30 could buy a hat or a pair of gloves for thirty homeless people this winter
- £50 could keep 10 homeless people healthy by covering the cost of their prescriptions
- £200 could furnish a library area at one of our Christmas centres
