We are looking for promotions volunteers to visit partner organisations, tell members and potential members about Crisis services, and encourage them to come along and join in. The role will involve maintaining links with our partner organisations whether by email, phone calls or in person. It will also involve visits to the venues we use to deliver our classes and partner organisations across Edinburgh. This role is flexible, you don't need to be available at the same time every week.
Fundraising assistant volunteer
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer with great organisational skills and an interest in fundraising.

There would also be the opportunity to join us at events at evenings or weekends. You volunteer will gain valuable fundraising and events experience whilst making a difference for homeless people.
Learning participation volunteer
Would you like to promote Crisis services to local homeless people? We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic volunteer to work with the learning manager, coordinators and tutors, you will create and implement a strategy to better engage existing members and involve new ones.

Crisis Action Team - Volunteer roles without regular commitment
We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, lively and dedicated people to support our campaigning and fundraising efforts across our 50th year. You will be part of a team tasked with supporting the events and activities marking our 50th year, talking to community groups, schools and colleges and taking the lead to find ways to ensure the public have a greater understanding of homelessness.
What’s distinct about this role is that it’s designed to fit in with your life. This role isn’t about giving an hour of your time at a set time each week. We don’t expect you to make every event or appointment and we don’t want you to feel guilty if you’re not available. By giving us your time in this way you will be fighting to end homelessness.
If you would like to apply for any of our volunteer roles please download the application form and return it to our volunteering email address or post it to the Volunteer Coordinator, Crisis Skylight Edinburgh, Crichton House, 4 Crichton Close, EH8 8DT.
