SmartMove provides homeless or vulnerably housed people with comprehensive housing advice and access to good quality accommodation in the private sector. It offers landlords a guarantee in place of the traditional deposit. It can provide the tenants with ongoing support and advice to enable them to sustain their tenancies, as well as befriending support from volunteers for new tenants who may be living independently for the first time.

About Exeter SmartMove:
Our work is mainly with single homeless and couples without children. However, we do work with families on occassion. Families in Exeter need to first approach Exeter City Council. Please contact us if you need to know how to do this. Although the majority of our work is within Exeter we also work in East Devon.
We welcome referrals and enquiries from anyone interested in using the scheme. We are always happy to talk if you are just looking to find out more.
