Launch of our new podcast Baby, It's Cold Outside starring Chris O'Dowd

Baby, It's Cold Outside is a new podcast drama written by award winning screenwriter Regina Moriarty, directed by Virginia Gilbert, and starring Chris O'Dowd and Anne-Marie Duff.

Part one launches on 17 December with parts two and three released on 18 and 19 December. Pre-launch the trailer is available.

The drama puts the audience in the mind of an ordinary man, struggling with homelessness, who is trying to have a special day with his son, whilst keeping secret the tragedy of his circumstances. It takes listeners on an entertaining and thought-provoking journey, finding humour in the darkness whilst hitting home the real impact of homelessness in the UK.

The podcast was developed by Duck Soup Films, in association with Crisis. It marks the launch of Fremantle's scripted podcast label Storyglass, which will commission and develop original scripted ideas from storytellers around the world.

Crisis is delighted to be working with this brilliant new platform, reaching and engaging with new audiences, and helping them to understand the real human impact of this issue.

Listen to Baby It's Cold Outside and watch interviews with Chris O'Dowd and Anne-Marie Duff.
