Race to End Homelessness with Crisis
What: Race to End Homelessness charity run: choose from solo, team or DIY
When: 6-19 September 2021
Where: Central London or at home
How much: Registration from £10, fundraising targets from £50
This September Crisis is asking its supporters to put on their running shoes and help end homelessness for good.
Runners in London are invited to form a team for the 4 X 1 mile relay on 9th September or complete a solo 5km/10km run on 16th September. Both runs will start on the Thames’ Bankside, in front of the Tate Modern gallery.
Meanwhile, fundraisers across the country can support people experiencing homelessness through a DIY Race of any length, anytime between 6-19 September.
Over 200,000 households in England alone are experiencing the worst forms of homelessness, including people forced onto the streets, sleeping in cars or stuck in cramped B&Bs for months on end. Through its Skylight Centres, Crisis helps end the homelessness of people across Great Britain by offering support with housing, employment and well-being.
Runners participating in the Race to End Homelessness will be getting an unforgettable warm up from Mr Motivator, who will be running a Crisis x Fizzical Zoom session on 8th September.
He said: “I’m over the moon to be supporting the Race to End Homelessness.
“A secure and stable home is good for the body and mind. I can’t wait to help Crisis supporters get ready for the race. Let’s have some fun and support Crisis’s vital year-round work to end homelessness, to give people the chance to thrive.”
Join Crisis in the Race to End Homelessness – a race we can all win together.
