Help us celebrate Crisis' 50th anniversary

Please come and support us on Friday 21 April in Broadgate to mark the 50th anniversary of Crisis.

We will be in the Square from 10am – 4pm and have various ways to get involved.

  • Come and talk to one of our members.  We have a lot of members who have volunteered to be ‘Talking Books’ on the day, and are ready to tell their story around homelessness.  This opportunity will bring to life the face of homelessness, and dispel some of the myths
  • We will have a static bike and rower, where we will be asking members of the public to get involved and do a mile (or whatever you can) on one of the machines.  We will be aiming to do 50 miles on each
  • We have children from the local community (Wyken Croft School and Fillongley Scouts) presenting messages and artworks around homelessness
  • Information about fundraising, campaigning and volunteering

We also have a station set up at PureGym Skydome where we have a treadmill that will be running continually from 10am – 4pm.  Again, this presents as another opportunity to get involved….maybe try and run a mile?
