Food Delivery Driver

We are looking for experienced drivers with access to their own vehicles to support with the food and hamper delivery service to our Crisis members. You will work closely with the Transport Coordinator to ensure the safe and timely delivery of freshly cooked food and hampers. Ideally you will have a good knowledge of Newcastle and the surrounding areas, and for insurance purposes you must have a full driving license, have access to your own vehicle, have insurance which covers you for voluntary activities, have no more than 6 points and be between the ages of 25 and 65. This role is subject to a DBS check. **Please note we are also looking for support from people on 23rd under the role 'warehouse driver'.


Minibus Driver Volunteer

On 26th December we are running a sit down meal for 30 guests in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. You will be responsible for picking up the guests and transporting them to and from the venue. There will be a Driver's Mate Volunteer with you and the main transport team in the centre will liaise with you around the pick ups/drop offs. This role will suit someone who is flexible and with a good knowledge of Newcastle and the surrounding areas with good communication skills.


Minibus Drivers Mate Volunteer

On 26th December we are running a sit down meal for 30 guests in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. You will be responsible supporting the driver with directions and liaising with the transport team in the centre, picking up the guests and transporting them to and from the venue. This role will suit someone who is flexible and with a good knowledge of Newcastle and the surrounding areas with good communication skills.


Guest Transport Lead Volunteer

On 26th December we are running a sit down meal for 30 guests in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. You will be responsible for coordinating a small team and liaising with the drivers who are picking up and dropping off guests. You must have a good knowledge of Newcastle and the surrounding areas, and be able to manage/support people well in a busy environment.


Guest Transport Assistant Volunteer

On 26th December we are running a sit down meal for 30 guests in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. You will be responsible for liaising with the drivers who are picking up and dropping off guests. You must have a good knowledge of Newcastle and the surrounding areas, and be able to manage/support people well in a busy environment.
