About Crisis at Christmas

We mobilise a unique volunteer effort each Christmas to bring warmth, companionship and vital services to people at one of the hardest times of the year, and offer a starting point out of homelessness. This is only made possible through the collective effort and generosity of thousands of volunteers, individuals, community organisations and companies who donate money, time, skills, goods and services.

About The Role

Under the supervision of our Kitchen Leader you will cut, chop, peel and serve up tasty meals for our Crisis members.  Using your experience of working in a fast paced kitchen environment you will be part of a team preparing delicious meals to either deliver out to our Crisis members or serve at a sit-down event. Please note if you sign up to 23rd December you will be prepping the food and kitchen for the delivery service which runs on 24th & 25th December. On 26th December you will be preparing food for people in house at a sit-down meal and on 27th the event finished so you will be clearing-down the kitchen.
