About Crisis at Christmas

We mobilise a unique volunteer effort each Christmas to bring warmth, companionship and vital service to people at one of the hardest times of the year, and offer a starting point out of homelessness.  This is only made possible through the collective effort and generosity of thousands of volunteers, individuals, community organisations and companies who donate money, time, skills, goods and services. 

About the Role

This role is for flexible volunteers who are able to jump in wherever there might be a shortfall in volunteers during the day. Other key tasks will include meeting, greeting and signing in volunteers on arrival and some health and safety responsibilities such as ensuring volunteers adhere to Covid-secure measures, cleaning the bathrooms on a rota and cleaning stations at the event. Please note role tasks will differ with 24th & 25th when the event is deliveries only (no guests) and on 26th when it is a sit-down meal.
