About Crisis at Christmas

We mobilise a unique volunteer effort each Christmas to bring warmth, companionship and vital services to people at one of the hardest times of the year, and offer a starting point out of homelessness. This is only made possible through the collective effort and generosity of thousands of volunteers, individuals, community organisations and companies who donate money, time, skills, goods and services.

About The Role

We are looking for friendly and profressional volunteers to welcome our guests to our sit-down event on 26th December, signing them in, giving information about the event and liasing with the transport team when guests are leaving. Being on reception there are peaks and troughs in workload so you will need to be able to work well under pressure but also be proactive during quieter times. This role suits volunteers with previous experience of volunteering at Crisis.
