Picker Volunteer

Role Outline

Preparing hampers and wellbeing packs for our guest and members. We are looking for Picker Volunteers to support the sorting and packing of these items for Christmas guests and members. This could include helping to sort donations into gift categories, to packing personalised hampers of items for guests.

Core tasks

  • Transporting hamper, packs and other goods to members’ addresses 
  • Checking in and out of your shifts with your supervisor 
  • Reporting to your supervisor any concerns raised during shifts or any failed deliveries  
  • Reporting to your supervisor any concerns raised during calls regarding a person’s wellbeing or safety  
  • Maintaining client confidentiality  
  • Completing e-learning required for the role
  • Following role risk assessment and COVID-19 guidance
