Crisis Skylight Oxford
Crisis Skylight Oxford is situated in the Old Fire Station in central Oxford. As in our other centres, Crisis Skylight Oxford offers a wide ranging timetable of creative workshops including art, music, drama and dance and vocational workshops such as carpentry. We also offer tailored employment programmes and accredited learning opportunities in literacy, numeracy, IT and ESOL.
In addition to classes there is a café open to the public that provides accredited on-the-job training and routes to employment for those using Crisis Skylight services.
The Old Fire Station also houses Arts at the Old Fire Station, an independent arts charity running a theatre, dance studio, art gallery, artist's studios and shop.
Art tutor needed to help improve building entrance
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sessional Art Tutor to work with the Crisis Skylight Oxford members to improve the entrance to the Old Fire Station, by creating a piece of art work that would welcome people into the building. This may be something painted on or attached to the wall and may include the ceiling. More information on recruitment of Sessional Art Tutor. Deadline for applications is 14 May 2012.
