Crisis Skylight Oxford offers a wide range of workshops, advice and training.

  • Our classes include art, music, drama and carpentry
  • We can help you with reading, maths, computers and English
  • We can help you find a job
  • We run a café as a social enterprise which has a training programme

Outside of Crisis Skylight Oxford building

If you are homeless or vulnerably housed, you can access our services for free by becoming a Crisis Skylight member.

The Crisis Employment Platform is a unique event where you can; meet local employers and find out how you can work for them. discover local training and volunteering opportunities to boost your skills, take part in workshops that will equip you in your job search, and enjoy a free buffet lunch prepared by our café trainees. Crisis Skylight Café Oxford

Crisis Skylight Cafe signThe cafe serves freshly ground coffees, teas, cakes as well as a range of great meals and snacks prepared from fresh, local produce. We are a social enterprise and offer a training programme for Skylight members.

 Term dates and opening hours:

Term time

  • Monday - Friday: 10 am to 7 pm
  • Saturday: 11 am to 4 pm

Term break

  • Monday - Friday: 10 am to 4.30 pm
  • Closed Saturdays and Sundays

Term dates

  • Summer School: 4 August to 12 September 2014
  • Autumn Term: 22 September to 13 December 2014
    (sign up for courses at enrolment day: Monday 8 September 2014, at 11am and 2pm)


We work with Arts at the Old Fire Station, an independent arts charity developing projects with Crisis Skylight members.
