Audley Harrison MBE visits Crisis Skylight London

Long term Crisis supporter Audley Harrison took a break from his dancing rehearsals this week to visit the Crisis Skylight Centre in East London, meeting some of its members and learning more about the courses available to them.

The Olympic super-heavyweight and former European champion has been involved with Crisis for a number of years and supports the charity in its work to help homeless people build up their confidence, skills, education and employment opportunities.

He said: "It was great to visit Skylight London today and find out what the members are doing. I have a lot of respect for what Crisis continues to work for, as I volunteered for Crisis at Christmas and saw first hand the positive impact they have on people's lives."

Whilst Audley was visiting the centre he also popped into one of the dance classes to show what he has learnt in the past few weeks and partnered Crisis member Annette in the Viennese Waltz.
