Crisis celebrates National Volunteers' Week
Crisis said thank you to its volunteers this week at a special celebration event, which featured a performance from homeless and vulnerably housed clients of Crisis Skylight London and bunting decorated with messages from staff and clients.

Volunteers have an enormous impact on the work Crisis is able to deliver and the quality of the services the charity is able to offer to homeless and vulnerably housed Skylight clients.
Each year volunteers give over a quarter of a million hours of their time to Crisis and the charity would like to thank all of its volunteers for supporting its mission to end homelessness. National Volunteers week runs from 1-7 June.
Particularly important to Crisis' clients is the willingness of volunteers to give up their free time, unpaid, to help them and others.
Jennie Smith, Volunteer Manager at Crisis, said: "National Volunteers week has given us a great opportunity to reflect on the vital contribution that volunteers make to Crisis.
"Volunteers give new ideas and perspectives to our teams and we are very appreciative of the energy and dynamism that our volunteers bring.
"Our clients speak about how important it is to them to have volunteers to talk to and confide in and they tell us that volunteers inspire them and encourage them to think more positively about their own lives."
Volunteers' Week is an annual campaign which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK.
