Rules of the Crisis Spring Raffle 2021

Entry: The cost of each entry is £1. Players may purchase more than one entry, and payment must be made in advance. The maximum number of entries in each raffle for an individual is 60. This Raffle is only open to residents of Great Britain (this excludes the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands) including Crisis volunteers and employees. We do not accept entries from people under the age of 18. To enter the online raffle an entrant must self-certify that they are the required age to play and that they have read and understood the rules of the raffle.

The prizes for the Crisis Raffle are 1st prize £7,500 cash. 2nd prize £1,000 cash. 3rd prize of £500 cash. There are five 4th prizes of £50 cash and ten 5th prizes of £25 cash. Based upon the number of entries in our 2020 Raffle, the average chance of winning a prize for a single ticket was 1 in 4,028. Of the £72,510 received in ticket sales in 2020, 38.45% went on expenses, 13.10% on prizes and 48.45% plus an additional £18,000 in donations came back to Crisis to fund our work.

Draw date: Entry closes on 11 June 2021; the draw takes place on 25 June 2021 and will be conducted using a Random Number Generator. The results of the draw are final.

Notification of winners: Winners will be notified in writing within two weeks of the draw. Winners will be paid by BACS payment. A list of winners will be available on our website www.crisis.org.uk/raffle. Alternatively, contact us for the list of winners by phone on 08000 384838 or email supporter.helpline@crisis.org.uk.

Winners: Each winner may be photographed if required, and asked to provide comment on being selected as a winner, to help us promote future fundraising draws. Winners’ names and county/city of residence may be used to help promote future draws.

Late entries: Any money received after the closing date will be treated as a donation and used to fund our work.

Unsold tickets: Please recycle any unsold tickets, thank you.

Crisis Raffle Complaints Procedure

Any complaints regarding the raffle can be made directly to Crisis by contacting Ely Mukhwana, Supporter Services Operations Manager, in the first instance:

Every complaint will be taken seriously and fully considered by Crisis in order that a satisfactory resolution can be achieved.

In the event that a satisfactory outcome can still not be reached:

  • In accordance with the agreed protocol arranged on behalf of its members by the Lotteries Council, the matter will be referred to The Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS), which acts as an impartial adjudicator on disputes that arise between gambling operators and their customers.
  • The player will be provided with IBAS referral details.
  • The outcome of IBAS intervention will be reported to the Gambling Commission.
