It's time to demand change

Join us and sign our open letter to political leaders, demanding that they make ending homelessness a society-wide mission for the next decade.

None of us should be criminalised for being homeless

The UK Government is trying to pass new laws that would criminalise sleeping on the streets with a fine up to £2,500. We can't let this inhumanity happen. Together, we can stop these plans – but we need MPs to speak out against it.

Take action

We are the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We help people directly out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.

Support for you

If you are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, we can help. We offer services at locations across Great Britain. Our directory shows where you can find help and support wherever you are.

We put up this sign in Westminster to show what could happen if we don’t stop the UK Government’s plans to criminalise homelessness.

We hand in petition signed by 10,000 people calling on the Government to drop plans to criminalise homelessness.

Crisis is keen to support employers and in September 2023 will launch a Homelessness Covenant in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department for Levelling up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC).
