Crisis Chair of Trustees awarded DBE in New Years Honours

Crisis is delighted to announce that Tristia Harrison, who chairs the Board of Trustees at Crisis, has received a Damehood for services to telecommunications in His Majesty King Charles III’s New Year’s Honours List.

Since joining the Board of Trustees in 2020, Tristia has helped oversee Crisis’ efforts to support people facing homelessness during the coronavirus pandemic and helped strengthen its fundraising partnerships, which has seen Crisis join with businesses such as Tesco Mobile and most recently Lloyds Banking Group. Tristia has also been pivotal in helping Crisis to secure a stable financial future amongst challenging economic conditions.

Matt Downie, Crisis Chief Executive, said: “Since joining the board, Tristia has worked tirelessly to ensure that Crisis can provide the best possible support to people facing homelessness across Britain, as well as to help secure our future so we can continue in our wider mission to one day see homelessness ended for good.

“It’s only right that Tristia’s inspirational leadership in business should be recognised, so on behalf of everyone at Crisis, I would like to say a huge congratulations to Tristia on this well-deserved honour.”
