Project summary

HomefinderRCT is a new way of allocating housing association properties within Rhondda Cynon Taf.  In partnership with 6 Housing Associations RCT will give you access to over 15,000 rented homes in the area.  In addition RCT will advertise properties available to rent in the private sector - if you have difficulties in finding the money required for a deposit - you may qualify for assistance through the Housing Advice Centre.

Clients

Who is eligible?

In order to access the Scheme, you must be either homeless or threatened with homelessness and have a priority need. You will usually need to be in receipt of a low income. 

Client services

• Assessment of client needs
• Referral to support services
• Bond Guarantees
• Property inspection
• Practical support for tenants (e.g. advice on setting up tenancy/deposit)
