New Horizon Youth Centre is a day centre working with young people aged 18-24  who are vulnerable, homeless or at risk. It is best to get to the centre for 10:30am for your best chance of getting a housing appointment that day, please bring ID.

Clients

Who is eligible?

You must be aged between 18-24

  • Practical support for tenants (e.g. advice on setting up tenancy/deposit)

  • Signposting for education, volunteering and employment opportunities
  • Property inspection
  • Housing Benefit assistance
  • Client support plan
  • Assistance with finding properties in the PRS
  • Assessment of client needs
  • Assistance with application for community care grants and budgeting loans

How are referrals made

If it is safe for you to travel to Camden, please come to our day centre in person for 10.15am. We open our centre and allocate appointments for the day at 10.30am, so please try to come to the centre before then to avoid disappointment as most of our appointments are filled very quickly. Online referrals are not being accepted at the moment.
