Southdown is a not-for-profit specialist provider of support and housing services to vulnerable people across Sussex.
Clients
Who is eligible?
Our primary client group will be single people 18+ homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and assessed as not in priority need. Clients will be identified as vulnerable but excluded from support provided by statutory services or linked to services work
Client services
- Housing Benefit assistance
- Tenancy support service
- Practical support for tenants (e.g. advice on setting up tenancy/deposit)
- Legal support on rights and responsibilities for tenants
- Referral to support services
- Signposting for education, volunteering and employment opportunities
- Welcome packs (food, furniture, kitchen items, etc)
- Client support plan
- Assistance with finding properties in the PRS
- Referrals to funiture projects
