Project summary
West Suffolk Lettings Partnership offers tenants a Damage Deposit Bond. The aim of this bond is to help people access the private rented sector across West Suffolk. The criteria for assistance with this is that the property must be affordable and have all the necessary certificates. This scheme is limited, it cannot be guaranteed that everyone who applies will be successful.

Who is eligible?
To access this service you must be:-
- Eligible for assistance
- At risk of homelessness or have a housing need
- Unable to secure a deposit
- Local to the West Suffolk area with an established connection
Client services
If the council says it can help you…At the interview you will complete a Personal Housing Plan (PHP). This plan will set out steps which you can take to help prevent or relieve your housing situation. It will
also identify what steps the council will take to help you with your housing.
