Art from Crisis FAQs

When you subscribe to Art from Crisis, you’ll receive a welcome pack including your first A5 art card and a booklet full of additional art, stories and information.   

After your first month, you’ll continue to receive a one-of-a-kind postcard and accompanying booklet every month. 

Each featured artist will have experienced homelessness at some point in their lives and will have used art to heal, grow and tell their story, through whatever medium they’ve chosen. Through this subscription we aim to show the breadth of talent in Crisis, so we will select a range of mediums from our centres across Great Britain.

Through our centres, we encourage people to find a creative outlet, gain a skill for life and leave homelessness behind for good. We do this through free, easy-to-access classes, workshops and group sessions. During lockdown we instigated some quick initiatives to empower our members to continue being creative while in isolation. We created art and wellbeing packs which were sent to those shielding in hotels and other types of emergency accommodation. Moments of creativity can provide positive and uplifting experiences for those who are trying to rebuild their lives.

Once your subscription has been confirmed, Crisis will contact you via the email you’ve provided to confirm your subscription to Art from Crisis. We will then contact you each month via post and email to keep you updated about Art from Crisis. For the first 12 months of your subscription, you won’t hear about Crisis in any other way, but after this you will receive exclusive content and information about the other amazing work we do.

Your monthly donation will be taken on the day you set up your subscription, and will be the same date each month. You will receive an email each month to notify you that payment has been taken. If you sign up on a 30th/31st and there isn’t one in the next month, payment will be taken out the day before.

The money raised through subscriptions to Art from Crisis goes towards Crisis’ work to end homelessness, as we work side by side with people to help them rebuild their lives. Your donation will help fund and support our year-round work with people experiencing homelessness.

You are welcome to cancel your subscription at any time. If you would like to cancel your Art from Crisis subscription, please visit your most recent Art from Crisis email to find the ‘cancel my subscription link’ to take you through some easy steps.   

Alternatively, you can contact our Supporter Care Team on 08000 384838 and we will cancel your subscription within 24 hours and no further deductions will be taken from your account.   

 

 

We begin fulfilling your Art from Crisis packs on the 12th of each month. They should land on your door step up to five working days from then.

You can sign up for Art from Crisis at any time! Sign up before the 11th of each month, to start your Art from Crisis journey that month.

Unfortunately we don't currently deliver outside of the UK... but you never know what might happen in future.
