Crisis x Trueform

Partnered with Crisis since 2024, Trueform Engineering Ltd are a pioneering technology and manufacturing company that provide leading products, specialist engineering solutions and field support services for all modes of passenger transport. Over the last 2 years Trueform have raised over £60,000 for Crisis, enabling us to continue our vital work to support people to leave homelessness behind for good.

Aside from fundraising, Trueform have generously donated digital advertising space for Crisis campaigns and hosted employee fundraising and volunteering drives in support of both Crisis charity shops and our ‘members’ (people experiencing homelessness and receiving support from Crisis).

Trueform’s aspirations go beyond those of their immediate business, seeking to support public service through their products and day-to-day work. In 2025, Trueform became a member of Crisis' Homelessness Alliance, pledging to support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness  within their workplace and increase access to work opportunities for people exiting homelessness.

Crisis spoke with Harpreet Garcha, Human Resources Manager and Social Value Coordinator at Trueform, to find out more about the partnership:

What inspired you to choose Crisis as your organisation’s charity?

“Crisis are an excellent organisation supporting people  across Great Britain and we’re proud to support their 10 year strategy to end homelessness. As a charity they have a historically strong presence nationally and a reputation for achieving success for individuals facing homelessness”

How does Crisis align with Trueform’s goals and ethics?

“Much like Crisis, we believe strongly in fairness, equality and supporting people through their journey. At Trueform, this includes providing opportunities to improve people’s skills along with their mental and physical wellbeing – something reflected in in Crisis’ wraparound approach to supporting their members with all aspects of their lives.

Trueform is a relatively new partner with Crisis. We ourselves have been through a learning journey with our organisation to explore what works and doesn’t! We welcome Crisis visiting us and talking with the staff to amplify awareness and attending educational training days. Many of the team may see people experiencing homelessness in the course of their work and may not always appreciate the complex circumstance that lead to homelessness, which is something we should all consider.”

Now more than ever we need the support of partners like Trueform, as demand for our services is sadly on the increase. Over 320,000 households across Great Britain are currently experiencing the worst forms of homelessness and the ongoing effects of the cost-of-living crisis mean that many more people are at risk of becoming homeless for the first time. Here at Crisis, we’re seeing more people than ever before coming to us to ask for support – but through the donations and strategic support of partners like Trueform we can continue to deliver our vital work to make homelessness a thing of the past.
