Crisis at Christmas wishlist - Edinburgh

Crisis at Christmas provides safety, essential services and companionship for people experiencing homelessness each Christmas in Edinburgh. This year Coronavirus means that we are having to deliver a different type of Christmas. Whilst we cannot run a centre, we will still provide many of the same essential components in an adapted manner. Over this Christmas period we will offer:

  • Delivery of a personalised wellbeing pack
  • an online programme of activities (covering areas such as entertainment, wellbeing, and learning)
  • befriending services and social support throughout December
  • delivery of a hot meal on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

We want to ensure that our guests receive the same care and connection they usually would: so as much as is physically possible, we are bringing Christmas to them.

Crisis at Christmas in Edinburgh relies on donations from members of the public, community groups and companies to supply the items our guests need most urgently. If you would like to donate any of the items below, or have any questions please contact the Christmas team on, or call 0131 209 7700. This year in particular we require prior notice if you are planning to drop off donations at our office, as this will ensure we continue to work within our Coronavirus safety measures.

If you would like to donate a gift in kind donation but can't get to our office, we have an Amazon wishlist where the items will be sent directly to our team to sort and package for our guests.

Thank you for your support. We really appreciate it.
