Here's some information about Crisis to get you started:
When you sign up, you will be given the option to activate a JustGiving page. You can also set up your JustGiving page here. Just click 'Start fundraising' to create your page.
JustGiving is an easy way to fundraise. You can personalise your page to let people know why you’re choosing to Bake for Crisis and easily share your fundraising page with family, friends and everyone you know. All donations raised on your page will be sent straight to Crisis so there's no additional administration for you either.

You can also create a QR code to add to fundraising posters or leaflets, so people can donate directly. There's a step by step guide here: How do I create a QR code for my Fundraising page? – JustGiving Help.

Yes, if you’d prefer to, you can fundraise offline and then pay in the funds after your bake sale. See the ‘How do I pay in my donations’ question for more information on how to pay in your fundraising.
If you’ve raised funds via your JustGiving page, all donations will be sent directly to Crisis, so you don’t need to worry about transferring any funds over. If you’ve fundraised offline, you can pay in your fundraising here. Please make sure to put ‘Bake for Crisis’ in the ‘Which event did you do’ box, so that we can track your donation.
If you want to send a cheque or pay in your fundraising by bank transfer, email us and we can send you the details.

In need of some baking ideas? Some of our amazing members have shared their favourite recipes and top tips.
Last year, 7 year old Cadence chose to bake a difference and raise funds for Crisis as she wanted to help people experiencing homelessness.
With help from her mum, Cadence baked 350 tasty gingerbread treats to sell to her neighbours and at her Brownie group. Cadence did an amazing job of both raising money for Crisis and spreading the word about what we do and how we support people.
A huge thank you to Cadence and to everyone who is choosing to bake to end homelessness this summer, you’re all star bakers! ⭐

When planning your bake sale, think about setting a target to inspire your supporters and give you a collective goal. On average, pages with a target raise 17% more. Why not pick one of the amounts below as your target, to show your supporters how you're making a difference together.
