Nyome Nicholas-Williams announced as newest Ambassador for Crisis

Model, activist, and influencer Nyome Nicholas-Williams has been announced as a new Ambassador by the national homelessness charity Crisis.

Nyome is a model and co-founder of Be Who You Deserve, a social media driven initiative that aims to create a safe space for body positivity and mental health awareness.

Nyome previously worked with Crisis to help launch its online shop, Shop from Crisis, utilising her extensive fashion and modelling experience to raise funds for people experiencing homelessness.

As a regular visitor over the years to Crisis’ shops in Croydon and Elephant and Castle and an advocate for sustainable fashion, Nyome has used her platform to increase awareness about how Crisis’ shops help raise money to end homelessness. She recently volunteered at its shop in Elephant and Castle to see first-hand the vital role the shops play in supporting Crisis’ aims.

As an Ambassador Nyome will work even closer with Crisis to raise awareness of its mission to end homelessness in Great Britain for good.

Nyome Nicholas-Williams said: “I’m delighted to be an Ambassador for Crisis. I believe everyone should have a safe and stable place to live so I am eager to work closely with Crisis to help make that happen. The ongoing cost-of-living crisis means that many more people could be put at risk of becoming homeless in the coming months, which means the services Crisis provides to help people will be more needed than ever. I want to assist in raising awareness and ensuring those in desperate need do not go unnoticed.”
