Crisis brought together housing and homelessness experts from across Wales for our first ever conference in the country, chaired by Solas Cymru Director Charlotte Waite. The day was a chance to learn from each other and consider how we can continue to work collaboratively as a sector to build on the practical and achievable solutions that will make ending homelessness a reality.
Alongside workshops on the practical solutions to ending homelessness for good in Wales, the day speeches by Carl Sargeant, Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Children, and US-based Nat Kendall-Taylor from the Frameworks Institute, who are working on research around public perceptions of homelessness in Britain.
