KeyChoices is Rotherham Council's Choice Based Lettings (CBL) scheme. We advertise Council and Housing Association properties. All available properties are now advertised on a daily basis and if you are eligible and qualify to join Rotherham Council’s Housing Register you can express an interest in properties.

Who is eligible?
Who can use the service?
Anyone who has been accepted onto Rotherham’s Housing Register is able to use the service. To apply to join the Housing Register you must be over 16 years of age.
Client services
- Out of hours support
- Housing Benefit assistance
- Information packs provided on the local area
- Tenancy support service
- Practical support for tenants (e.g. advice on setting up tenancy/deposit)
- Referral to support services
- Referrals to funiture projects
- Relevant certificates obtained before tenancy (Gas Safety Certificate etc)
- Assessment of client needs
- Assistance with finding properties in the PRS
How are referrals made

As well as the above, KCPM also offer a competitive management fee, free initial property appraisal, information and advice on how to improve properties up to HHSRS standard, competitive EPC rates, property advertisements through Key Choices Property Shop.
